The kaleidoscope of events in the 90’s, showing the underside of the criminal world, is nothing but a background for this love story. 　　Ruslan is the protagonist of the series. First we see him at his 9 years, then in the period between 16–19 years. Ruslan’s childhood falls on the late 80’s, his father is a cardsharper and swindler. One day he takes his family to the wedding party of the son of his friend, a criminal boss. Ruslan falls in love with the bride at first sight and promises to find her, no matter how life turns out... The project is based on the novel “Wait for Summer and See What Happens”, which won the Andrei Bely Award in 2021.

A troop of British soldiers are out in the jungle to record jungle noises and troop noises in the jungle so that the recordings can be played back by other troops to divert the enemy to their whereabouts. As they progress to what they think is closer to the base camp they find themselves farther and farther from radio range until the only channel they can get clearly is that of a Japanese broadcast. They now realize they are probably only 10 to 15 miles from a Japanese camp! The tension is added to by rowdy and openly admitted "non-hero" Private Bamforth who has nothing good to say about anyone and especially Corporal Johnstone (who holds an equal dislike for Bamforth).
